Didn't Calvin doubt his own election (although I’ll admit ignorance as to whether he was a double predestination guy...and I may be misremembering the first part). I've been wondering about how dispensational views affect other theology and I had wondered if Christians are drawn to conspiracy theories as they are already open to the idea that "many people don't accept the truth and the truth is less obvious." I'm sure atheist friends would say that you have to use the same denial of reality for both belief in God and say, a flat earth. Anyway thanks for the link, I have some catching up to do!
