🎶 How did I not know that there’s basically a new Cornerstone Festival? (Audiofeed)
That said, likely to be way more bands I want to see at Furnace Fest, which I intend to go to again this year.

Looks like a lot of fun. I used to go to Cornerstone every year from the late 90s to early 2000s. I'm from northern Illinois so it was an easy drive down with our youth group. I had tickets for the first return of Furnace Fest, but missed it because COVID happened.
@xxxx did you used to have a username that was all #s?
I went for a day the first or second year they had it. Glad to see they’re still going. I was slightly tempted to go last year when they announced Joy Electric.
I did, haha. It was a way of maintaining a certain level of un/discoverability. Yeah that was me.
@xxxx ahh ok. I think you were the one that turned me on to the Labeled podcast (which I enjoyed for a while) and Furnace Fest!
That's right. Labeled was great. I was really into the early Tooth and Nail/Solid State stuff. Because they cover pretty much everything there were some I had to skip because I had no context, but I really enjoyed that podcast.
@xxxx yeah, big on the early Solid State. The second day last year was pretty rad. (unfortunately Extol couldn’t make it.)
That afternoon is nuts. I saw Extol with Selfmindead at a pre-Cornerstone concert in the Chicago suburbs in the early 00s and they were both phenomenal.
