So marvelous. Have you tried any Ursula K LeGuin? I discovered her around the same time that I first read The Martian Chronicles, and she is marvelous too.
Currently teaching my 8th grader F451. Such a great book as well.

Have you read The Compass Rose? It’s a collection of her short stories, published in 1982. Out of print now, but worth tracking down a used copy if you’re a fan.
