There's nothing quite like seeing a deer at play, especially the young ones! But where are you that you're seeing a fawn so early? Or is it one born last spring?

@Denny Iβm in central Indiana. Maybe βfawnβ is not technically accurate, but it was one of the small deer, not full size. Maybe itβs a βyearlingβ?
Now that I think about it, perhaps they should keep their fawn status up till the time that the current year's fawns are born. Then they graduate to yearling? Ignore my previous comment. π
