🔎 Can you spot two elusive green herons?
(Hint, they’re not green and are smaller (at least with their necks tucked) than other herons you are likely used to.)
We also had three great blue heron sightings, eight five-lined skink sightings, and our first common watersnake of the year.

The skinks were both blue tail (juvenile) and orange head (adult).
We watched the green herons chase each other around for a while. I also saw one catch a fish from a Turtle Willow and then go hide on the bank to eat it.
I always feel bad for the animals with "common" in their names.
